What are they?
When and where are they?
Who and how can I be involved?

What are they?

Clusters are an excellent way into the church if you are new to St Barnabas. They are smaller and more informal gatherings than a Sunday service and therefore easier to make friends and feel at home. If you go along to a cluster meeting you will find about 25-35 people who eat together, spend time getting to know one-another and who are sharing their lives and walk with God together. Evangelism will be at the heart of the cluster identity by welcoming new people into the group and also supporting our own personal evangelism in the other communities that we are a part of. Clusters will also enable us to use/develop our God given gifts, to support the church's mission to look ‘outwards’ and to encourage and engage across the ages and bringing together those who are with us long and short term. Clusters are one way that the vision — for all ages teaching and supporting one another in living the Christian life — will be developed — relational integrated discipleship.

When and where are they?

Clusters meet on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, starting around 7.30pm, but every one is slightly different! So make sure you sign up for the cluster you would like to attend so that someone can contact you to tell you the exact starting time and any other information you may want to know! Otherwise please contact the office for more information. There are currently 8 clusters and each cluster has 2 leaders. Some are near St Barnabas and some are in Cherry Hinton. Some are in people's houses and some are either in the church building or other halls. Each cluster will be different as they do not follow a set programme.

Who and how can I be involved?

Clusters are for everyone. If you are attending St Barnabas Church on a Sunday you are welcome to attend a cluster! If you would like us to contact you before you come to cluster just email us or sign up on the board in the square. If you don't hear from anyone you are welcome to turn up to a cluster meeting around 7.30pm for food!
